The thing on the right looks bad, it's like red outside with a white inside, with bright green text. The green is hard to read over the white, and looks kind of bad over the red imo.

How about putting the "Online" below "Users" on the left?

When you put the cursor over the links on the left, it transforms into the line (like it does over text) as opposed to the hand it normally turns into over links.

There still isn't a thing to deactivate smileys for news post comments

The date/time for your newspost is in thin white, hard to see over the yellow, and it's so small/thin it doesn't appear very well over the black either.

I like most of the stuff added however. Some of the fonts imo don't work well with the new layout. I can't really explain what makes me think this. Maybe the links and stuff would look better as jpg buttons, instead of plain text? The buttons could be a little bigger too imo. In general, I think a lot of of the fonts are smaller in mcn than in bwm.

In bwm, the buttons are plain text ish, but they have background textures (not just solid colour), and the text changes colour upon cursor hover.
MCN atm seems almost more squarish than bwm in some aspects.

I do like most of the colour-scheme though. It's different and interesting. What kind of textures will you use? bwm uses starcraft terrain textures, will you use bw textures or wait for sc2 to come out to use those textures, or use something else entirely?


I don't mean to overwhelm you with suggestions, I'm sure most if not all of these things you're already working on or have on a to-do list, I'm just throwing ideas out in case some things are things you thought of and forgot to write down or whatever.

Oh, lastly, that bw button at the top middle is quite possibly the ugliest thing I have seen my entire life.

The new background color/black in the forum really hurts the avatars.This smearing effect was not before.Why it cannot be the same green like in news,as background?

Btw,I'm using Firefox as browser.I don't think it is the browser

The things Nightmarjoo pointed out are mostly IE-specific stuff. If I want the whole "button" to be clickable, and not only the text, I get that strange cursor thing in IE.

Well, the forum colors could change of course.

I will not use any game-specific textures. I don't see any need to add even more clutter really.

Looks alot better,nice job

The buttons on left aren't final i would say,like the red color on the right.The green color for maps is too bright.I'm speaking about the fonts in the red column

The most I like the stuff on the top,well done

I would complain only about the bigger fonts than before for the user.Date & time does not fit anymore in the same line,when you have a longer user name like mine.You should fix that

i second the previous comment.the button about Nightmarjoo refer could be upgraded too,but come on.

to be honest i would like to see some texture,i remember i pointed out this before,at the time we have the first design.you don't need to use some game specific texture if you don't want or like them,even something understated would do well.sure it's not a must,but it grants the site a nicer,gentle touch.if you allow me a comparation:sure you can play a good map like luna whitout any decoration or doodads.but with them everything looks alot more better,natural,familiar.

think about,it is worth

I have photoshop on my computer now (yay torrents), so if you need/want me to do anything graphically I can take a whack at it.

i really use a vaste quantity of them weekly(not to mention the z's in icq;if it would be a tax for using them i would be a poor fella.in the meantime it is become a vice;a little weird,i know.

but on the other hand,it's less typing,and each smilie can say sometimes more than one or 2 words - if you know what i mean.

btw panschk,i want more smilies
