Well, you probably already realised that I wasn't really working much on MCN in the last weeks. And that will stay that way for at least another month. I'm writing my master's thesis right now, and I have some other side projects and I might write a book about excuses, so there won't be an update very soon.
I also think that the big goal of becoming a multi-game plattform with 1000 great features and stuff might be a bit too ambitious considering the limitations. So I might just settle with "BWMN for Starcraft2 with more colorful design and less being hacked"

i guess so long sc2 isn't available bwmn is furthermore a good place where creative mappers can upload their works & discuss about their problems - related to sc.still think it can be helpfull to have the site ready before sc2 is finished;that way we have the chance to become more familiar with all the functions & features of the site.a other reason is like on every new site the "debugging attempt process",plus so far i understand you right u wanna transfer the entire db of bwmn on this site before you quit bwmn.

so yeah, there are good reasons to keep this in mind.
i was surprised a bit when you said formerly that the new site would host more games.it could happen that the site will loose more and more its own identity therefore.it's a good decision to keep it as a pure sc site.however there will be anyway 2 games;sc & sc2.btw,we shouldn't fool ourselves - there will be so much to do when sc2 will be finally available.we have to examine very carefully how the new editor works - and we need to write articles about his functions.we have to analyze how the new units will affect the game - it is more than unlikely that we can map like before;we need to understand the new chances & risks for the whole mapping process.i ask myself who will have time for other games, when you keep in mind that people have also a life beyond mapping/gaming?
